The local radio issues an SDP inquiry to identify the services supported on the remote device. This may or may not involve a PIN exchange. Operating software should be uninstalled, not deleted because of the damage it can do to software it may communicate with. Select Add a Bluetooth device in Control Panel to find all devices within range of the computer. I am not happy deleting software from my operating system disk. Is there a problem with this fix - does the installation package not work? Has is been updated? Do other people have this problem? Has HP updated the fix/package? Is this the latest fix for this driver? Has anyone else reported this problem? Why wasn't the fix written so that it automatically updates the earlier software change or automatically uninstalls incorrect software and replaces it with the updates/fixes. How can I uninstall the previous software on my laptop and install the package the HP Support Assistant wishes to install. It recognises my phone and my TV but cannot talk to them. I deleted a "Bluetooth" selection under the Device Manager. I could not find anything wth the name "Bluetooth" under the Control Panel. This package comes with the HP Support Assistant.

DesignJet, Large Format Printers & Digital Press Just an update for people coming across this thread, I was able to install the driver by navigating to where the installation file extracted to under the C:WindowsInstaller (which thankfully was just named 'Intel Bluetooth' so it was easy to find by the date created).Printing Errors or Lights & Stuck Print Jobs.Notebook Hardware and Upgrade Questions.
